Overview
The major tasks associated with the development of the Marketing Datamart
can be summarized as follows:
- Document end-user requirements (data elements and tool functionality)
- Identify all operational systems that contain information sets
required by the end-user
- Identify those information sets that will be resident on the Datamart
- Datamart design
- Datamart design
- Selection of end-user tools
- Datamart development and deployment
- Establish remote access parameters
- Datamart updates and maintenance
